Craft Hope

Many of you have already heard of Craft Hope, but for those of you who haven't here's the info.
Craft Hope is a website begun in 2009 and run by the tireless Jade Sims.
From the Craft Hope website "Craft Hope is a love inspired project designed to share handmade crafts with those who need them. It is our hope to combine our love for crafting and desire to help others into a project to make a difference around the world."

Through the efforts of Craft Hope orphaned children living in Guatemala have received their first dolls, school children in Liberia have received counting and letter bean bags, midwives can do their jobs easier in Haiti, and now the call is for blankets to send to the families who have lost so much to the Tornadoes in the southern United States.

Our quilting evenings for Quilts for Quake Survivors was such a success, I would like to invite you all back for an evening for Craft Hope.
Join me and bring your friends to make blankets next Friday, May 20th, from 6-9.
If you're unable to join us at Treadle, you can mail completed blankets along to Jessie at:

Jessie Rayot
255 Centre St Apt 6
Nutley NJ 07110

The deadline for Project 13 is June 15th. Please attempt to get all handmade blankets to her by this date.
